Jose Prakash (14 April 1925 – 24 March 2012) was an Indian actor and singer who worked in Malayalam cinema. He was a singer turned actor who had appeared in more than 300 films mostly in antagonist roles. He was awarded with the J. C. He was the eldest of 8 children of Kunnel ''K.J.Joseph'' & ''Eliyamma Joseph'' on April 14,1925 at Changanassery, Kottayam. He has a younger brother Prem Prakash who is also an actor. In 2003 his right leg had to be amputated due to Diabetes. He has 6 children, 4 sons and 2 daughters. He lived with his eldest son in Cochin till his death on 24 March 2012.His grandchildren are Jose Rajan,Tresa Rajan,Priya Shaji and Sachin Shaji.
